Prevention Saves You Money on Dentistry Too!
Whether you're covered by a dental insurance plan or take advantage of CareCredit or our Advanced Dental Plan, your attention to dental prevention is still essential. Seeking routine checkups virtually guarantees your dentist will detect any potential teeth problems early when they are easier to fix. For example, a small tooth filling costs around five times less than root canal therapy.
Our dental office can also provide preventive treatments like fluoride varnish and dental sealants to protect vulnerable teeth from decay. While we often apply these to children and young adults, any patient can benefit from this added layer of security.

Cosmetic Dentistry
The Advanced Dentistry of Spring team provides a full range of cosmetic dental services for people in Spring, TX, who want to improve their smiles. First, we will assess your individual needs by discussing what smile flaws both you most and your smile goals. Then we devise treatment plans that mix and match specific procedures, charting a path to a new smile you’ll love.
Here are some of the methods we offer for cosmetic dentistry:
- Same-day dental crowns and restorations – Your front-facing teeth may suffer from myriad surface flaws, all of which we can conceal with porcelain restoration like dental crowns and veneers. We use an advanced planning process and efficient fabrication to plan, make and apply these restorations in one visit.
- Dental bonding – Dental bonding is another way to cover tooth issues like stains, fractures, chips, and enamel wear. This method uses composite resin, which starts in a semi-solid. We tint this material to match your tooth and then mold it over it, creating a new attractive form. Once hardened, this material is durable and attractive while also being easier on the budget than dental crowns and veneers.
- Professional teeth whitening from KöR® - For unattractive teeth stains that our dentists have ascertained are on the outer surface of your enamel, we are excited to offer a highly effective teeth-whitening treatment called KöR Whitening for extreme staining. Along with their concentrated whitening formula, we also provide fitted whitening trays that ensure the whiteners hold tight against your teeth and away from your gums. Most patients are delighted when seeing their teeth several shades whiter after using the system as directed.

Dental Implants
Our office has worked with dental implants at Advanced Dentistry of Spring for many years. This outstanding method for replacing missing teeth involves precision planning because a dental implant is surgically placed in the jaw, anchored to the bone like a natural tooth root. Dental implants are also quite versatile, supporting several options, from a single tooth to multiple teeth and even a complete mouth restoration.
Our task begins with assessing your oral health to make sure you’re able to receive dental implant surgery. Then, we can help you decide if a crown or bridge restoration is best or whether you should consider an implant denture in cases with numerous damaged teeth that you might be better off replacing.
Our 3-D Cone Beam Imaging Improves Diagnosis
Because Advanced Dentistry of Spring has in-house 3-D cone beam CT digital imaging technology, we can take three-dimensional pictures of your teeth and jaw and immediately evaluate the images. This helps us quickly decide which restoration options are appropriate for you. These images also provide greater accuracy.
Our precision planning process also allows us to design your dental restoration, which fits on top of your dental implant base. This can be a CEREC same-day dental crown if your implant replaces only one tooth. We can also use our same-day process to create an implant-supported bridge that offers multiple teeth replacement. We also can design an implant denture if you want an entirely new smile and have lost most, if not all, of your natural teeth.
No matter your situation, you don’t have to live with the consequences of missing teeth. We can help you today.
Emergency Dentistry
When you need dental care on the same day you've called our office, you've likely experienced a dental emergency, and we can help. The Advanced Dentistry of Spring's mission is to do everything we can to treat your oral health care needs, even when those needs are acute.
In fact, even if you've never visited our Spring, TX dental office in the past, we will at least begin treating your emergency on the day you call, striving to relieve pain and stabilize your condition. Then our experienced dentists will treat the underlying cause.
What to Do in Case of An Emergency
If you're searching for an emergency dentist near me, the first important thing to do is remain calm. Panic will only make the situation worse. If the condition includes bleeding, work first the stop that through compression, pressing gauze, or clean cloth against the wound. You can also use a cold compress against the area to stem the blood flow.
If the bleeding is steady, visit an emergency room in case of mouth injury that should be treated before your teeth.
Next, prepare to call our dental office immediately. You do this by assessing the situation so you can describe It accurately when you call. Start with pain: find the exact location and determine its severity. You can label it on a scale of one to ten. Also note any other symptoms like inflammation or gum tissue redness, mouth sores, or further damage.
With this information, please call our dental office and speak to a team member so we can work to get you in right away.
While certain dental problems may or may not be urgent, some accidents are absolute emergencies. These are the times you need to seek dental care immediately. One such incident is a knocked-out or avulsed tooth. This describes the condition where a permanent tooth is knocked out but is still intact.
Many accidents may cause an otherwise healthy tooth to get knocked out of its socket. But no matter the cause, if this happens, you need to take action without even the slightest delay if you want to save your tooth.
Here are the steps we recommend you take in case you are dealing with an avulsed tooth:
- Handle the tooth very little – touch only the top portion (the crown) and avoid the root
- Rinse the tooth with warm water – do not brush or rub it
- Use a cold compress to control inflammation and slow bleeding
- Place the tooth back in the socket if you can. Otherwise, pack the empty socket with clean gauze and place the tooth in a container with milk or saliva
- Call our office right away.
At Advanced Dentistry of Spring, we are dedicated to treating dental emergencies, so if you have an avulsed tooth, the last thing we want to see is you lose it when we could reimplant it. If you can get to our office within an hour of knocking out your tooth, the odds are good that we can save it.
Restorative Dentistry
We offer sedation as one method to address dental anxiety. At Advanced Dentistry of Spring, we understand that each patient has a different history informed by their personal experience, and we intend to meet you where you are. So, in addition to a calming environment and other techniques to mitigate discomfort, we provide several options that may assist you.
The first is intravenous (IV) sedation. We call this method "twilight" sedation, and it will ensure a completely relaxed dental visit because you won't be alert to any procedures. In fact, we can often handle numerous treatments in one visit because you can remain in the treatment chair longer with fewer obstacles.
We work with an on-site board-certified anesthesiologist who monitors IV sedation. This gives us complete control over your comfort level and allows Dr. Glass to concentrate on providing the best possible treatment outcomes.
Nitrous Oxide for Lighter Sedation Needs
We also offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas). With this method, you inhale a mild sedative gas through a mask that we monitor for the proper level of awareness. This keeps you relaxed during procedures, but you can still respond to instructions.
This option is ideal because it has few side effects; the impacts of the gas clear up quickly when we stop administering it. After a few moments, you will feel mostly normal and ready to resume your day with completed dentistry and a healthier smile.
